Only God will Judge
Sometimes, my curious mind will take me to places where my legs will never make me to think of. In our indigenous traditions we were taught God exists and we worship him through our idols or images that we created, which our colonial masters made us to believe they are idols which should not attract praiseworthy of divine authority.
For some centuries or decades now, we continue to live on these illusory mental distortions which become our daily living standards and aspirations. Although, we create ventures out of this colonial impressions or ideologies that strive with the use of biblical principles or colonial manual.
Whether we are achieving any positive results with this aspiration against our supposed abandoned channels of communication to supernatural authority or becoming an avenue of extortion and manipulation of our people to live in imaginary worlds. There is one thing that is striking and making me to believe religion is dynamic which revolves around people's sentiments.
The tripartite concept of God that is deeply enshrined in the Bible is also emphatically recognized by our traditional beliefs. The roles of God is well-stipulated in any religious fabrics of our society or viewpoint of every religious authority that exists in the world.
Despite, there is contested views on the roles of Jesus Christ whether as the son of God or prophet or God himself become issues of eternity. Most of religious issues are derived from the angle of one's point of view or the basis of cultural inclinations or continuous social or economic relations.
Our traditional leaders are also deeply ingrained in the trinity concept of God, they believe Jesus Christ or Holy Spirit exists but not from our colonial perspectives. Their inclinations are held on their idols being the communicative point of the Holy Spirit, the channel in which they received their aspirations, wisdom and hope. I found it very similar to the Catholic rendition of the colonial religion, the problem only arises when the protestants try to get new perspectives in Christianity.
Catholic church uses symbols like rosary, mother mary statue or olive oil or communion foods and others, even protestants also adopt the rituals of communion. So in all, there is symbolic representation being used in worshipping God across every perspective of religion.
The necessity of religion is to translate the inspiring divine knowledge or wisdom into our society to create sanity and sanctity of rational wellbeing of humanity. If not all these and that concerns in religion is worthless as well as mental derision. The only question left in my mind is only God will judge, after listening to the elderly man spoke about the overall perspectives of our traditions in very short hours during funeral ceremony.
