There is some similarity between what Jesus and Elijah did,they gave some specific promises to their followers, when they left or ascended into the cloud of heaven, then they will receive the presence and power of the Spirit of God. Elijah stated it categorically that, "the double portion of spirit", if it was within his jurisdiction to give him, I do not think he would have said that, but will give it to him immediately due to Elijah's determination persistent, and pursuit of it and be servitor to his master. He rather told him to watch out, when he is being caught up into the cloud, then his expectation will be met, if not so then he cannot get it.    Currently, I wrote an article with the title "Ghana Must Work" which expounded on concerns for Local Governance reform that will enforce accountable and inclusive development. This will involve creating more rooms for Assemblymen/women to play dual roles in the Assembly system by encouraging independence of their works while contributing to the decision making process for more holistic assessments since they are the true reflection of their communities as well as the District.
